Last week I was very excited to receive my latest delivery of Gaspari Nutrition’s Aminolast – which I swear by to help fuel me through my workouts.
I, like many other fitness professionals, take BCAA (Branched Chain Amino Acids) around my sessions – they help with muscle protein synthesis and so prevent the body using muscle as fuel (protect those gains!), they provide energy and endurance and help speed up my recovery post workout. Getting through my one hour classes, and especially two hours of teaching back to back is a huge physical strain, so I was delighted to discover Aminolast several months ago – it is 10g of BCAA in flavoured powder form (with no added sugar or caffeine) that I can add to my water bottle and drink throughout my classes and gym sessions. It really helps me push myself in my own workouts, but also gives me energy and fuel to be the motivation my classes need to get them through the last few reps. So to all of you who have been asking over the past few weeks what the pink liquid in my water bottle during class is – now you know!
I am not sponsored by, or affiliated with Gaspari or Aminolast in any way, I just genuinely love this product – especially the ease of getting 10g BCAA during a workout without the need to swallow pills! If you’re not taking BCAA’s as part of your fitness routine, then I really recommend you give it a go – it will help your body preserve lean muscle, give you energy to push harder in your workouts and speed up recovery afterwards. What’s not to love?!
I purchase my Aminolast from Amazon but you can find it on many UK supplement websites.
